We are a group of gamers who have been selected as the “faces” for Extra Life in Winnipeg. We attend numerous local events to bring awareness to the Extra Life movement which helps raise money for Children’s Hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network.
Extra Life Winnipeg was started in 2014 as one of Canada’s first Extra Life Guilds. We have been asked to be the faces for Extra Life in the city of Winnipeg (and surrounding areas) and bring awareness to this great charity movement. You can see us in the community participating in gaming events or at pop-culture conventions like the Central Canadian Comic Convention (C4) or Ai-Kon.
Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids across Canada and the United States. Gamers have taken up the challenge to do good things for their communities by still doing what they love – PLAY GAMES!
