The Speaker
Petro Panin is an entrepreneur, speaker, recruiter, and dedicated relationship builder who has reinvented his career more than once – always with the same purpose: helping people and organizations grow. With more than 25 years of experience across education, leadership, business development, and recruitment, Petro began his career in Ukraine as an interpreter and English teacher before becoming a Scholarship Program Director and later founding a business that helped entrepreneurs expand internationally. After arriving in Canada in 2022, he rebuilt his career by coaching newcomers, supporting immigrant services, and connecting talented people with employment – all while working two jobs and preparing for his next entrepreneurial chapter. He also served as an organizer and Speaker Coach for TEDx Waverley 2026. Today, Petro and his business partner, Daniel Panin, are launching The StaffBridge, a family-owned recruitment business built on a simple mission: to build bridges between talented people, employers, and opportunities.

The Talk
What happens when life asks you to start over – not once, but several times? In this talk, I will share my journey of reinvention across countries, careers, and industries – from building my professional life in Ukraine to starting a new chapter in Canada and eventually embracing entrepreneurship again. Throughout my journey, I have taken on many different roles: interpreter, educator, scholarship leader, business consultant, newcomer support professional, and now founder. While these paths may seem different, I discovered one common thread connecting them all: meaningful relationships create opportunities, and opportunities help people and organizations grow. This is not only a story about changing careers or moving to a new country. It is a story about resilience, continuous learning, adapting to uncertainty, and having the courage to build the next chapter. I will share the lessons I have learned about rebuilding professional identity, creating meaningful connections in a new environment, and turning challenges into opportunities. My belief is simple: every new beginning starts with courage, but the bridges we build through relationships help us move forward.
